The Social Effectiveness Research Centre provides a mix of information and support services for non-profit making organisations, particularly voluntary or community projects and organisations.  Our starting point is that organisations and projects already contain within them the potential knowledge and learning that could lead to better solutions to many of the problems facing society.  We provide both a general information library online as well as individual support in person where we feel the organisation potentially has ideas or learning that could benefit other organisations.  For a recent example of our work for other organisations, please see https://wales.coop/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/CCLH-Report-2019.pdf, a report assessing the benefits of community-led housing, which included a range of responses from residents and organisations in Birmingham and the Black Country.  We are currently working with BVSC on the evaluations of Ageing Better in Birmingham's Age Friendly Tyburn and Carers' Voice projects.  For further information, see www.socialeffectiveness.org.uk or contact [email protected].
