Become a member of BVSC

BVSC is proud to be an organisation led by its members. By joining BVSC you’ll become part of a growing network of voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) sector organisations in Birmingham.

Membership is FREE to both organisations and individuals who share our vision and values and who wish to be part of a strong and influential sector throughout Birmingham.

Why become a member of BVSC?

  • Help set the strategic direction of BVSC

As a full Member of BVSC your organisation or group can attend, and exercise voting rights, at our Annual General Meeting when we set the strategic direction for BVSC, reflecting the needs and values of our membership.

  • Find funding - Engage for Funding search portal

As a member you can access our Engage for Funding portal to search for current funding opportunities that will help you sustain and develop your organisation.

  • Have your say on matters that affect you

By lobbying and negotiating on your behalf, we seek to influence decisions made by our statutory partners on behalf of the City of Birmingham.  We’ll invite you to share your views through consultations, surveys and events.

  • Get information and updates

As a BVSC member we’ll keep you informed about the latest news and opportunities in our Weekly Email Bulletin, and other news alerts.

  • Connect with others

    You will be invited to join our Engage for Good networks. 
  • Enjoy discounts on BVSC services

BVSC Full members are entitled to discounts on a number of services including room hire and finance and human resources consultancy services.

10% reduction on HR services

10% reduction on Financial Support Services (excluding payroll)

Membership Criteria

To become a BVSC Member, you must support our vision and values.

BVSC reserves the right to refuse membership to any organisation it believes to be ineligible. Organisations undertaking party political activity will not be eligible to join BVSC.

Any information we collect will be in held within the terms of our Privacy Policy.
