Libraries Consultation 2024

The way people use library services has changed significantly, locally and nationally, over the last five years. We are asking for people who live, work or study in Birmingham, and who want to access the service, to help shape the future of the library service for the city.

Birmingham City Council has a legal duty to provide a comprehensive and efficient library service for all those who “live, work or study and want to access the service” in the city. (Public Libraries and Museums Act 1964). We are currently inviting people who live, work, or study in Birmingham to help shape the future of the library service. Closes 17 July 2024

Awareness Ambassador

As an Awareness Ambassador, you can play an important role in increasing awareness of diabetes locally and online. You will support Diabetes UK campaigns by taking leaflets and posters along to local community venues such as libraries and community centres and like and share on our social media.
Events Volunteer

Events volunteers help raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK at events around Leicestershire. Events volunteers talk to members of the public in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK, offer appropriate Diabetes UK materials and answer general queries.
