East Birmingham Asset Based Community Development training

Calling all Community Builders!

Join us for some exciting in-person training on Asset Based Community Development (ABCD). This hands-on workshop will equip you with the tools and knowledge to empower your community and foster positive change.

Dates: 29 April and 13th May Time: 10:00-15:00
Location: Khidmat Centre, B10

During this course, you'll learn practical strategies to identify and mobilise the strengths and assets within your community. Discover how to build strong relationships, promote collaboration, and tap into the collective potential of your neighbourhood. Whether you're a community leader, volunteer, or simply passionate about making a difference, this training is for you!

Things to note:
The workshops are all in person at Khidmat Centre, B10
The workshops are for people volunteering/working/supporting communities in Hodge Hill and Yardley (East Birmingham).
You must commit to both sessions.
Teas, coffees, and lunch will be provided.
We may be able to reimburse participants for their time/money spent attending training, please get in touch for more information.
There will an opportunity to apply for a micro grant on workshop completion.

Events volunteers talk to members of the public in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK, offer appropriate Diabetes UK materials and answer general queries.

Charity Meetup Birmingham Networking Event

Training with Birmingham Settlement

Birmingham Settlement is delivering a programme of training suitable for those working in social care or those who simply have an interest in the training topics.
