QAC Information Day for Professionals

Queen Alexandra College (QAC) is a national residential College and Charity that supports a diverse range of student abilities and needs based in Birmingham.

This event will provide you with the opportunity to meet our staff and students plus discover more about QAC including our 16-25 curriculum, employment progression provision, residential and supported living options, community based services, rehabilitation and travel training, use of assistive technology and much more.

The event may particularly interest (but is not limited to):

Building Mental Health Resilience Conference

A Conference with Intergenerational Dialogue rooted in Communities exploring the theme of Building Mental Health resilience. People from minority communities are often diagnosed with severe mental health problems up to eight times more compared with the wider population. Moreover, these communities experience more restrictive measures within the health system, including being subjected to forensic services and locked wards. This conference will involve an Intergenerational Dialogue root.
