BVSC have launched a new community grants fund to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector organisations that are supporting those experiencing homelessness and poor housing in specific geographic areas and defined communities in Birmingham. The fund is aimed addressing homelessness in our communities by building capacity and resilience within existing services across Birmingham. Thanks to The Oak Foundation, Shelter is looking to invest up to £60,000 in grant awards of up to £20,000.

If you are interested in submitting an application for this funding opportunity, please download the Application Pack using the links below.

Please note that we are not looking for organisations to develop new projects or to significantly modify or adjust their existing delivery practice, therefore this session is intended to support organisations in identifying existing activity that aligns with the aims and outcomes detailed in the Specification Requirements document.

A second round of funding for grant awards of up to £5,000 will be launched in 2023. This funding will be aimed at smaller community organisations and groups that are supporting those experiencing homelessness and poor housing in Erdington, Handsworth and Sparkhill. More details will be available on this and will be found on our website in the new year.
