BVSC has announced some new dates for Community Leadership Training sessions later this year, to be delivered in a new 'blended' style that combines face-to-face learning at BVSC with self learning using the e-learning platform.

The Community Leadership Training programme was introduced early in 2023 as a partnership between BVSC and Birmingham City Council to upskill current or aspiring community leaders across the City. Sessions have been delivered both face-to-face and online via the e-learning platform, a legacy of the project that allows learners to access the programme at a time that's convenient to them.

What's included in the 'blended' mode of learning?

As a delegate you will attend one in-person session at BVSC that will introduce the first module of the the Community Leadership programme - "Champions & Leaders: the five steps to success".  You will also be introduced to the e-learning platform and supported to continue the seven remaining modules online at your own pace and in your own space.

Who can take part?

Any current or aspiring community leaders in Birmingham can take part in the FREE in-person sessions or register for the online e-learning platform. 

When does the training take place?

There are currently three in-person dates to choose from for this new 'blended' mode of training:
