Could you help?

Here at University College Birmingham, we are looking to work in partnership with Birmingham-based organisations to offer our college students unpaid work experience.

We are looking for organisations that could support and offer our college students (aged 16+) 10 - 45 days of unpaid work experience for the this (2023/24) and future academic years.

As a specialist vocational university and college based in the centre of Birmingham, we have a diverse mix of students on a range of courses from Levels 2 – 7 who are eager to build and launch their careers and futures.

We are looking for work experience for the following college course areas:

Health
Education
Engineering and Construction
Business and Accounting
Digital and Computing
Sport
Professional Cookery and Food and Beverage Service
Bakery
Hair and Beauty

Taking on a student for work experience has a great array of benefits to organisations, including cost-efficient recruitment, early access to young talent, increased skills, ideas, and creative thinking, increased productivity, and improved social mobility, diversity, and reputation.

Our students are the future workforce, and what better way to ensure our society has the talent we need than by helping shape and engage with them from the start of their career journey?
