Seeking befrienders for our retirement village

Could you spare an hour or two each week to come and chat to one of our most isolated residents?

As we get older and less mobile it is easy to become isolated. Some of our residents do not feel up to leaving their apartments to socialise with others. Could you be a friendly face that they look forward to seeing each week? If so, please get in touch!

Please note, 2 references and DBS check will be required before you can start this volunteer role.

Join GoodGym Birmingham for a Litter Pick on the Canal

GoodGym is a group that combines physical activity with doing good. We have group runs and Community Missions. On Tuesday 30th April we will be meeting at 1000 Trades in the Jewellery Quarter and then heading to the nearby canal to do a litter pick. There is an option to run to the canal and then do a little run after or you are also more than welcome to walk.
