A new grant programme to support Ukrainian guests in Birmingham is open for applications from Voluntary and community-based organisations in Birmingham.

There are three commissioning themes; each has its own aims and outcomes outlined in the grant specification document:

  1. ESOL – Increase the capacity and flexibility of ESOL in Birmingham.
  2. Wellbeing and Mental health – Build independence/importance of self-care
  3. Employment -

Important dates:

  • Applicant event sessions: 10:30 on 19 and 26 April 2023
  • Closing date: 5pm Thurs 11 May 2023
  • Outcome known by w/c 5 June 2023
  • Project start date:  June 2023
  • Project end date: by 31st May 2024

Read the grant specification to check that your organisation is eligible to apply and that your project meets the criteria.

Advice sessions – applicants can send an email to: [email protected]. to book a place on one of the advice sessions.

Complete the application form – you’ll need to complete a Homes for Ukraine grants programme application form.

Register online with the Oracle Portal – ensure your organisation is registered on the Oracle Portal (you’ll find more information on the council’s online payment and finance system here).

Email your completed application and supporting documents by 5pm on Thurs 11th May 2023 to: [email protected].
