The first BVSC Kickstart vacancies have gone live with the Department of Work and Pensions and are available for eligible Universal Credit Claimants aged 16 – 24 within Job Centres in the Birmingham Area.

We currently have four open vacancies:

  • Kickstart Communications Assistant (BVSCKS01)
  • Kickstart Research Administration Officer (BVSCKS02)
  • Kickstart Conference Assistant and Administrator (BVSCKS03)
  • Kickstart Communications Assistant and Administrator (BVSCKS04)

All our Kickstart participants will be paid the National Living wage, continuing BVSC’s commitment to being a Living Wage employer.

Working closely with other VCFSE organisations we aim to bring more Kickstart vacancies providing young people across the region with opportunities to build their skills and confidence. The long term aim of Kickstart is to arm young people with the experience they need to be able to secure long term employment after completing their 6 month Kickstart placement.

If you are a young person, or know of eligible individuals interested in one of our Kickstart vacancies, please speak to a Job Centre coach quoting BVSC, the job reference code and our postcode, B5 6DR. Alternatively please email [email protected] and we will guide you on how to apply.
