'Sharing the Cake' Community Development Network sessions booking now for Autumn/Winter There’s so much knowledge and skill in the community development sector in Birmingham, people who work day-to-day with citizens finding out what matters to them and helping them live a good life. But do you know who to call when you have a challenge? And do others know about the great stuff you’re doing, or are they out there re-inventing the wheel when we could be sharing resources and benefitting our communities? Sharing the Cake is a series of quarterly face to face events with lunch followed by learning, and 90 minute monthly zoom groups. These BVSC Community Development Practice Hub events are an opportunity to share the good work that’s happening in the City, be aware of the skills and talents in the room, add to your tool kit, and work together for the benefit of our communities. Face to face and online, every session will give you the chance to refresh and recharge: share current projects talk through challenges one to one practice take away tools to benefit your communities widen your network of colleagues and resources in the city. Events will be capped at 20 to give the meaningful connection participants have really valued, so book ahead to avoid disappointment.
