While helping women improve their fitness across the board, SheBeasts will work with women recovering from trauma, ranging from substance misuse to domestic abuse. These private sessions will focus on the importance of physical and mental wellbeing, providing advice and support on a range of skills, including nutrition, fitness, health, mindfulness, and positive behaviour coaching.

SheBeasts Ltd harnesses the power of ‘rebounding ’, a specialised low-impact, high-cardio exercise carried out on mini trampolines that provides endless health benefits. From helping boost endurance and stimulating the lymphatic system to strengthen bone density and improving pelvic floor muscles, rebounding’s proven track record of building fitness in women of all ability levels makes it the perfect fit for the programme.

The social enterprise was founded by business consultant and bodybuilder Sadie Jones, who combines her business acumen, philanthropy, and love for fitness to launch this much-needed service.

Commenting on the launch, Sadie explains:
“I love training people through rebounding – it is an exercise that still sits massively under the radar in Birmingham but is booming in places like London. There are so many female-specific benefits to rebounding; it is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, and, most importantly, it’s great fun.

“Many women across Birmingham, who may have experienced trauma or difficult upbringings, do not have access to wellbeing training and may not be aware of the positive effects it can have on them. SheBeasts offer a free lifeline to those living in refuges, giving them a greater chance at getting on the right path. We do this by reinvesting profits into providing fitness training and nutrition, and mindset coaching to improve their lives and their chances of success in the future.

Recent high-profile cases have brought to the forefront the seriousness of violence against women and girls, which causes significant harm and distress to victims. My ambition is to support and empower all women and girls through fitness, specifically women and girls who have been victims of violence.

I believe wholeheartedly that building strength and health from within will help us all live healthy and happy lives. I already work one-to-one with clients in fitness and nutrition, but now I can do my bit to give back to women who have experienced challenging times.”

To kickstart her campaign to help women build strength from within, Sadie is hosting free taster rebounding classes to showcase its benefits. Places are limited and must be booked in advance by clicking here.

Sessions are being held at FIT BOX 450 Moseley Road, B12 9AN throughout October.
