The hub aims to connect, inspire, and upskill community development practitioners across Birmingham. Speakers were Carol Hebden and Jo Bagby of JJ Consulting who discussed research undertaken into community development practice locally and its key findings. Cormac Russell of Nurture Development, shared his thoughts on how we can meaningfully work with communities and what happens when we shift our focus from what’s wrong to what’s strong. David Coffin of BVSC offered a short overview of the six-month Community Development Practice Hub pilot programme.
