Community groups are encouraged to apply for grants of up to £10,000 to develop and deliver low carbon projects in Birmingham.

Applications can focus on a wide range of areas including behaviour change, air pollution, transport, energy and health.

To apply, organisations should be not-for-profit and legally incorporated, and the funding is aimed at community based projects which use data and have defined and measurable outcomes to help reduce Birmingham’s carbon emissions.

If anyone is interested in applying, please take a look at the information on 3Dhub. Full criteria and an application form will be available shortly. If anyone has any questions or is not sure their organisation or their project idea meets the criteria, they can contact CSE to discuss, as we’re keen to make the process as smooth as possible.

Finally, we’d like to see applications from a broad range of Birmingham based groups representative of the diverse city, so please do pass this information on to anyone else who you think may be interested in applying and encourage them to sign up to the 3D Newsletter. We’ve attached some promotional materials including a Press Release, example tweets and social media graphic. This also includes a document outlining some example project ideas. Please feel free to share these materials with your networks and contacts to help promote the funding competition.
