Advocacy Matters is a local award winning charity that aims to provide adults at risk with an independent advocate to ensure individuals are heard & their rights, concerns & needs are acted upon.

We are providing friendship and activities for older adults in local Care Homes in a new befriending role.
Supporting people to take part in activities in their home, local community and at our office in Sutton Coldfield.
Free Training and DBS provided.

Events volunteers talk to members of the public in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK, offer appropriate Diabetes UK materials and answer general queries.
Birmingham Hospice Charity Shops - Volunteer Vacancies

Volunteers needed at Birmingham Hospice retail stores. We have 21 shops and are always in need of volunteers.

GoodGym is a group that combines physical activity with doing good. We have group runs and Community Missions. On Tuesday 30th April we will be meeting at 1000 Trades in the Jewellery Quarter and then heading to the nearby canal to do a litter pick. There is an option to run to the canal and then do a little run after or you are also more than welcome to walk.
