In December 2022 BVSC launched the first tranche of a new community grants fund, totalling £200,000 to voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise sector organisations that are supporting those experiencing homelessness and poor housing in specific geographic areas and defined communities in Birmingham. This activity is aimed addressing homelessness in our communities through building capacity and resilience within existing services across Birmingham.

Since then BVSC launched the second and third tranches of funding respectively in July 2023 and October 2023 and is now launching the fourth and final tranche of funding through this Community Grants Fund.
