To help our clients feel welcome at Sifa Fireside and to help us to gain valuable feedback on the client’s experience of our services.

Welcome new clients who may not have used our services before with the offer of a drink and something to eat.

To chat to clients and offer a listening ear if appropriate.

To gain feedback on their experience of our services.

Assisting clients and floor staff with requests for clothing, food parcels or toiletries.

Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Helping to serve food and drinks and assist the kitchen at key serving times

Clearing tables and helping to maintain our hygienic environment
Working conditions

Volunteers have their own dedicated room with lockers to store items safely. They can also take breaks during their shift with access to tea/coffee.
Volunteers will be supported by the Volunteer Lead with regular check-ins as well as opportunities for training and role development.
Travel expenses will be paid up to £5.00 per shift or Daysaver bus tickets are available.

DBS Checks will be carried out for all volunteers and upon receiving a certificate, they will be issued with an access badge to relevant areas in the building (except staff only areas).
