About Foundation 2 Change

Foundation 2 Change supports individuals affected by addiction, offending, homelessness, mental health challenges and social exclusion. Through rehabilitation, recovery support, housing pathways, mentoring, education and employment support, we empower people to rebuild their lives and become active members of their communities.

Purpose of the Role

The Office Administrator will provide efficient and effective administrative support across the organisation. The postholder will ensure the smooth running of office systems, maintain accurate records, support reporting requirements, coordinate communications and assist with the day-to-day administration of projects and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage incoming telephone calls, emails and enquiries professionally.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper-based filing systems.
• Input, update and monitor client and organisational data.
• Support the preparation of reports, funding returns and monitoring information.
• Organise meetings, appointments, room bookings and staff diaries.
• Prepare correspondence, minutes, presentations and administrative documents.
• Assist with social media updates, newsletters and general communications.
• Support the onboarding of volunteers and staff, including maintaining records.
• Order and maintain office supplies and resources.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with GDPR and organisational policies.
• Provide administrative support for community projects, events and workshops.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties consistent with the role.

Person Specification – Essential

• Previous administrative experience.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
• Ability to maintain accurate records and databases.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
• Empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by disadvantaged individuals.

Person Specification – Desirable

• Experience within the charity, community, health, recovery or criminal justice sectors.
• Experience supporting social media platforms and digital communications.
• Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation requirements for funded projects.
• Understanding of safeguarding principles.
• Experience working with vulnerable adults.
