Our Governing Board have three main responsibilities:

· Setting the strategic direction of the school

· Holding the leadership to account for the performance of the school

· Making sure that resources are used well, and that money is well spent

We generally hold full governing board meetings each term, with around five meetings over the course of a year; they are held in school in the evenings, from 6.00-8.00 pm.

Training is available for all new and established governors, mostly delivered online. All governors will have DBS clearance.
