The Office of the Public Guardian (OPG) are looking for volunteers to participate in research to share views on the process to make and register a Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) to help improve this service for the public.

Who can take part?

We are looking for people who:

• Usually prefers completing a paper form to apply or register for government services.
• Are able to travel to central Birmingham

What will happen in the research session?
It will involve attending a 1-hour session in person at our office in Birmingham City Centre. Your travel will be paid for.

During the session you will be asked to complete a ‘mock-up’ paper form and share your thoughts on your experience. You do not need any prior experience or knowledge of making a Lasting Power of attorney to take part.

As a thank you for taking part in the research you will receive a £40 shopping voucher (One4all).

When will the session be?

Thursday 27th and Friday 28th June. You will only need to attend one session.

If you can't make these dates, please register your interest, as we may be able to extend the dates for this round. We also will be running subsequent rounds of research this year. Therefore, all interest is welcome.
