Businesses and Charities Compete for the Community at the Birmingham Community Investment Games

Businesses, Charities and other Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) organisations came together on 4 June to ‘Compete 4 Community’ in the Birmingham Community Investment Games. The Games, hosted by Pitch2Progress CIC and supported by the Birmingham Business & Community Partnership, brought organisations together not only to compete in a variety of fun sports and games, but also to encourage connection and collaboration to help "make the magic happen" for communities. Launch of the West Midlands Nature Investment Hub

We’re delighted to announce that the West Midlands Nature Investment Hub was officially launched by Mayor Richard Parker and Minister for Nature Mary Creagh MP on Thursday 2nd July. The Hub connects businesses looking to invest in nature with trusted local organisations delivering projects that create benefits for wildlife, climate resilience and local communities. Read more

Businesses Support Young Children in Hospital to Reduce Loneliness through Play

Birmingham businesses are supporting young children in hospital to reduce loneliness through play by making activity and playpacks. BPCN (Birmingham PlayCare Network) are working with local businesses to create bespoke activity and playpacks shared with children in Birmingham Children’s Hospital through the NHS Ward Buddies pilot scheme. New VCFSE Co-working Space Opening in Birmingham City Centre - Opening offer £6 a day

BVSC is delighted to be piloting the Birmingham VCFSE Hub – a new shared workspace designed specifically for grassroots voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations. Located in the heart of Birmingham, the Hub will provide a welcoming and collaborative environment where organisations can work, connect and grow together. Deadline extended: Invitation to Quote – Underserved Migrant Lived Experience Engagement & Qualitative Data Collection

Your organisation is invited to submit a quotation for the delivery of lived experience engagement and qualitative data collection as part of Birmingham City Council's (BCC) Underserved Migrant Health Needs Assessment (UMHNA). BCC is commissioning up to five VCFSE organisations to deliver focused engagement activities. Each organisation will work with a distinct migrant community with whom they have established and trusted relationships.
Help shape better health outcomes for migrants in Birmingham: survey and invitation to collaborate

The Inclusion Health team (Public Health) is inviting colleagues and partners across Birmingham to get involved in the Underserved Migrant Health Needs Assessment (UMHNA). Migrants in vulnerable circumstances face some of the most significant health inequalities in our city. This assessment is a key opportunity to better understand these challenges, highlight what works and develop clear, actionable recommendations that will drive meaningful change.
