Help shape better health outcomes for migrants in Birmingham: survey and invitation to collaborate The Inclusion Health team (Public Health) is inviting colleagues and partners across Birmingham to get involved in the Underserved Migrant Health Needs Assessment (UMHNA).Migrants in vulnerable circumstances face some of the most significant health inequalities in our city. This assessment is a key opportunity to better understand these challenges, highlight what works and develop clear, actionable recommendations that will drive meaningful change. Your organisation’s insight and collaboration are essential to ensuring this work reflects the lived experience and needs of affected communities. By contributing, you will be part of a citywide, collaborative effort to strengthen how we respond to the health and wellbeing needs of underserved migrant communities. This includes people seeking asylum, refugees, survivors of trafficking, those with No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) and other systematically excluded migrants who face specific and significant health inequalities. The findings from this needs assessment will directly inform commissioning decisions, service design and partnership working across Birmingham.Your organisation's knowledge, expertise, and data could make a real difference to this work, and we would very much welcome your collaboration. To support this work, we have created a short survey to understand: what data your organisation holds how you would like to collaborate (e.g. data sharing, focus groups, interviews or other partnership opportunities) Your contribution will help build a robust evidence base and ensure services are better designed to meet the needs of migrants in our city. We would also greatly appreciate you sharing this invitation with relevant colleagues, networks, and partners. 👉 Complete the survey📅 Closing date: Friday 31st July 2026UMHNA Summary downloadIf you have any questions or would like more information on this project, please contact the Inclusion Health team [email protected] Manage Cookie Preferences
