Connected Services Programme

Connected Services Programme

Birmingham City Council have been fortunate to secure £1.1m worth of brand new devices from the West Midlands Combined Authority to support the Connected Services Programme, as part of our digital inclusion focus. We are actively looking to attract applications from voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations who support citizens in Birmingham 16+. The closing date for applications is 15 August. Read more

One in seven Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector workers nationally are paid below the Living Wage, with over three quarters of the public backing them to receive enough to live on (Living Wage Foundation, June 2022). These figures are reflected locally. The effects of the Covid-19 pandemic combined witrising living costs has left many VCFSE workers struggling. Read more
