After receiving cabinet approval in May 2026 CRF aims to provide both immediate support for households in urgent need and longer-term assistance to individuals and families to build financial resilience and stability. This fund is provided by the Department for Work and Pensions available through Birmingham City Council to support residents experiencing financial hardship, unexpected crises, or ongoing cost-of-living pressures. BVSC will work with the Housing Team to support the success of this scheme. Birmingham City Council's Housing Team retains responsibility for identifying eligible households and will continue to oversee engagement, manage referrals and provide ongoing support. BVSC Grant's role will focus exclusively on the distribution of vouchers in line with the Council's eligibility decisions and funding parameters. The main goal of the scheme is to reduce and prevent homelessness by providing targeted voucher assistance to households accommodating at-risk individuals. As BCC is the lead organisation on this project, BVSC will not be accepting direct referrals. Manage Cookie Preferences
