Digital Unite has created a free Digital Champion Project Toolkit designed to help organisations plan, launch and run a successful digital inclusion programme. It includes practical templates, step‑by‑step guidance, role descriptions, impact tools and everything needed to support people who struggle with digital motivation, confidence and skills. 

If you are already supporting residents, service users, patients, staff or volunteers with digital access, or you are thinking about starting something, this toolkit could be a useful starting point.

It’s based on more than a decade of experience supporting organisations to run projects via the Digital Champions Network (DCN). The DCN provides support and resources for Project Managers, as well as full training to turn staff and volunteers into confident Digital Champions.

This toolkit is part of the first module for Project Managers on the DCN. It will help you lay the foundations of a successful project, whether you are a member of the DCN or not. If you are a member, you can then access more sections, on topics like how to set up impact measurement and to onboard volunteers.
