The Bike Project - Support refugees across the West Midlands

Donate your unwanted bike to The Bike Project, a local charity who support refugees in Birmingham. The Bike Project refurbish and donate bikes for refugees, providing freedom, independence and improved wellbeing. They urgently need your help to support refugees on their waiting list.

Right now, there are over 100 refugees waiting for bikes — but the charity's supply is currently dwindling. ITV Central News featured The Bike Project’s urgent appeal on Friday 20th February. The report highlights how a bike is a lifeline, helping refugees access healthcare, education and work. You can catch the full feature here.

You can donate your unwanted bikes all across Birmingham and the wider area, including Alvechurch, Balsall Heath, Bournville, Birmingham City Centre, Coventry, Kings Heath, Sutton Coldfield and Tanworth-in-Arden.

Long Covid Support - In-Person Peer Support Group

Due to the decommissioning of NHS Long Covid services across Birmingham, the charity is setting up a monthly in-person peer support group (IPPS) to help and support those who are living with Long Covid, age 16+ and carers of a loved one living with Long Covid.
