Our smoking cessation service is all about the idea that prevention is better than cure.

If you’re trying to stop smoking but can’t quite maintain the will power then our smoking cessation service could be just for you. Based here at the cancer drop-in centre and led by Georgie and Dan who are both certified stop smoking practitioners, we offer flexible appointments around your availability on a 1-2-1 basis all provided in collaboration with Pharmastrat. We can provide you with all of the necessary support and items that you could use to help you give up smoking including things like nicotine patches and nicotine gum.

Most importantly, this smoking cessation service is based on self referral, so no GP referral is required and the ongoing support can be based around your needs and requirements with flexibility (as long as we are available) to suit you. It is based around our focus on prevention and early diagnosis of cancer of all types and it could be a key part of ensuring that you spot the signs early or prevent a cancer diagnosis in the first place.
