Locality is delivering the ‘Build’ programme which aims to help social economy organisations increase their trading income and impact. Participants must be based in the West Midlands with a turnover between £50k to £100k pa. 

This programme is part of the WMCA’s wider West Midlands Social Economy Business Support programme which is aimed at developing the business skills of Social Enterprises, Community Owned Businesses, Cooperatives and Charity Trading Arms to help them grow, become more sustainable and increase the impact they have in addressing inequalities. 

The programme includes a blend of in-person and virtual expert training and peer learning alongside monthly 1:1 mentoring to increase trading income, business skills and beneficiaries. Running from April 2024 to September 2024. Applications open from 29 January to 3 March 2024.

Participants will receive a grant incentivised to increase trading income to a maximum of £5,000.
