As we prepare for Birmingham's first-ever Christmas Concert for the Over-50's, we are in need of a Photographer who will cover the journey of our Over-50's Community Choir and our exciting Keyboard Lessons for the Over-50's. Such a volunteering role like this gives fulfilment!

Strike-A-Chord is a fun-filled music-making project in which the Over-50's and Over-60's learn how to play the keyboard! This activity fosters togetherness and social interaction, as well as helps the ageing population overcome isolation and loneliness.

The "Strike-A-Chord Over-50's Christmas Concert" intends to be an uplifting Christmas celebration for the Over-50's by the Over-50's. As much as possible, the singers, players and musicians at the concert will be in the 50+ age group

In preparation for the Christmas Concert, we are forming an Over-50's Community Choir consisting of people aged 50+ from various ethnic groups and denominations across Birmingham. They will be rehearsing and learning Christmas carols and songs in English and vibrant African languages, which they will perform at the concert.

The fun that these precious Over-50's enjoy, may last a moment. However, the photographs you take of them will be memories they (and their families) cherish for a lifetime!
