Refugee Week: Celebrating Sanctuary events

Celebrating Sanctuary Birmingham are promoting a number of events throughout Refugee Week. These include a solidarity walk on Saturday 18 and the launch of a an exhibition of self portraits taken of many refugees and migrants across the City. There will be stories of hope with Refugees and Asylum seekers giving input in terms of lived experience. There will be poetry readings, and music and encouragement of people to go to Symphony Hall for a further exhibition of places and spaces.
