Since launching in March, the Birmingham Community Lottery has quickly become a powerful fundraising tool for local good causes. In this time, over 150 local causes have joined the initiative to raise much-needed funds, collectively securing an impressive £20,000 to date. This vital support will make a real impact on Birmingham’s communities, enriching the lives of citizens and fueling the work of organisations that truly make a difference.

With tickets priced at just £1 each, the lottery provides an affordable way for people to support their chosen causes, with the additional incentive of winning cash prizes of up to £25,000 in the weekly draw.

Additional 'super draws' take place at the end of each month too, with a chance to win extra prizes to the value of at least £1,000.  And to mark our first six months, we're celebrating with another very special prize available exclusively to Birmingham Lottery players – a hospitality package for 10 people at Walsall Football Club. Everyone who buys a ticket in September will be placed in the super draw and will be in with a chance.

So, if football, friends, and fabulous perks sound like your kind of hat-trick, grab your tickets now – because winning this could be the best thing to happen since sliced bread... or VAR!

What sets the Birmingham Community Lottery apart is that at least 60% of ticket sales goes to supporting good causes. Additionally, as a player, YOU select the cause you want to support.  Anything from youth initiatives, mental health charities, arts projects, community parks, and friends groups.

Northfield Community Partnership is one of the causes fundraising through the Lottery. The charity is a lifeline for local people striving to improve their life chances. Operating from their hub in Northfield, this dedicated organisation offers a wide range of services, from advice and guidance to employment support, computer skills training, and a vital food bank. Each year, they touch the lives of around 10,000 local people, making a real difference in the community.

Victoria Scott, the Marketing Officer, shares the impact, she said: “The Lottery was an amazing opportunity to boost our funding. The funds we raise through the Lottery are crucial for our Food Bank, which provides an average of 60,000 meals per year to citizens within the Northfield constituency.”
