We are looking for a volunteer Administrator on a part time basis (6 hours a week) to assist the Senior Administrator with general tasks.

Change Birmingham Brief Therapy is currently seeking to recruit an Administrator to join our thriving and innovative team to help us develop and improve our well established and successful counselling service. Your main role would be to provide administrative support to the Senior Administrator with responsibilities of offering an empathic and sensitive point of first contact for all service users.

Our service uses a solution focused approach to counselling, and we offer 1:1 support both remotely and face to face to individuals in the local community experiencing common mental health issues. We are also a training provider for Solution Focused Practice delivering courses ranging from Foundation skills to Diploma level qualifications.

Our office is in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter with easy access to public transport as well as car parking.

Main duties include managing client referrals and appointments, telephone mini triaging, assisting with updating the client database system, recording and distributing minutes of meetings, handling both telephone and e-mail enquiries relating to all areas of the service, statistical reporting using excel, provide administrative support for training courses by sending out reminder invitations via e-mail to trainees and assisting the Training Co-ordinator with producing and distributing training materials, taking part in presentations and exhibitions to bring awareness of our services, and answering telephone and online (e-mail) enquiries.

This role is largely office based with some flexibility of remote working if required. Working days and hours are negotiable.
