As the Network Coordinator, my role involves leading the No Wrong Door (NWD) workstream as well as coordinating other aspects including our iCAT system for Birmingham Changing Futures Together programme. No Wrong Door has been developed in two stages. The first was the coordination and facilitation of delivery agencies focused on improving outcomes by cross-organisational working. Out of this collaboration came two new projects: A Navigator Service, explicitly aimed at preventing individuals dropping out of support whilst moving between services and, the No Wrong Door Quality Standards which aims to monitor service quality, highlight areas of improvement and to encourage best practice in working with people with multiple and complex needs (MCN). The work of NWD has brought about these two areas of system change in Birmingham. My passion continues to be able to connect agencies, the use of technology, stakeholder engagement and service redesign to drive agencies to collaborate and produce better outcomes for people with MCN.
