Our trained volunteers provide practical information about the court process as well as emotional support to help witnesses feel more confident when giving evidence. We are looking for people who are able to give one day per week to support witnesses across the Wolverhampton area, we provide free training and any out of pocket expenses during volunteering.

As an Witness Service Outreach Volunteer you can make a real difference for vulnerable victims and witnesses, through offering an enhanced and tailored service based on their needs, additionally, you can gain valuable experience, enhance and develop your interpersonal skills, and, or utilize your skills to help others.

Witness Service Outreach Volunteers provide support to vulnerable and intimidated witnesses, meeting them away from the court environment, either at home or at another agreed safe place, like a school or community centre, visits can take place in the evening until 18.30, additionally, volunteers will provide trial day support at court.
