Would you like to play a part in supporting a child with a parent in prison by becoming their mentor? If so, we have an opportunity for you. Children Heard and Seen have been supporting children and families impacted by parental imprisonment for six years and we are looking for mentors in the West Midlands who can commit for between six and eighteen months. You will need to be aged over 21, be willing to undertake an enhanced DBS check and be able to commit to meeting with a child every week. You will undertake agreed activities and be a positive role model. You will receive training and regular supervision.
