As a volunteer at the helpline, you would be a valued member of a lively and supportive team who answer phone calls and messages concerning mental health and wellbeing. Volunteers receive comprehensive training and supervision and gain many useful skills. Reimbursement for travel expenses is available.

You must be over 18 years of age and be able to attend our Beechcroft centre in Erdington. After training is completed, we request a minimum of 1 x 4-hour shift per week for at least 3 months. Shifts are available between 9 am and 11 pm, 7 days a week. This opportunity is not suitable for work placements or student experience.

The application process will include an informal interview at Beechcroft, a reference, a DBS check and a signature of our confidentiality statement.
