Volunteer for research at the Office of the Public Guardian The Office of the Public Guardian is carrying out ongoing research to improve the experience of our customers when completing and registering a Lasting Power Attorney (LPA). As part of this work we are looking for people to take part in interviews in Birmingham, lasting approximately 1 hour. We are looking for people:• Age 55+• Who knows what a Lasting Power of Attorney is• Who are NOT acting on a Lasting Power of Attorney (as a donor or attorney)• Who are able and willing to travel to central Birmingham• Who would usually prefer to use a paper form instead of completing something online• Who are free for research sessions 22nd-24th May 2023The research would involve attending our Birmingham office during May and travel would be paid for. During the session you will be asked to complete elements of a ‘dummy’ LPA and share your thoughts with us. You do not need any prior experience to take part.
