We are seeking to recruit volunteer events assistants and digital support assistants to support Living Well UK's work. Living Well UK are a mental health and wellbeing charity that provide community support through online and in-person wellbeing events. As a consortium, we also provide support to our consortium members to enable their growth as charities.

What will you be doing?

Events Assistants- Setting up and taking down events, monitoring the number of attendees, assisting attendees with registration and providing any other ad-hoc support needed on the day. We expect our events assistants to be available to attend our in-person events, but we provide our volunteers the flexibility to help out as frequently or in-frequently as they wish.

Digital Support Assistants- Meeting with team members from local charities, either virtually or in person, and providing guidance on how to improve their online presence. This may also include creating and scheduling social media content for our partner charities, depending on your experience. This is a flexible role that will be shaped around the availability of the volunteer.

What are we looking for in a volunteer?

Events Assistants- A friendly and positive attitude and commitment to supporting the local community. No previous experience necessary.

Digital Support Assistants- A strong understanding of either social media or digital marketing and a willingness to teach others.
