Therapeutic Horticulture Support and Visitor Welcome Volunteers opportunities at Martineau Gardens.

Are you interested in volunteering with us? We’re looking for Therapeutic Horticulture Support Volunteers and Visitor Welcome Volunteers.

Therapeutic Horticulture Support Volunteers
The Gardens are tended by a community of volunteers, many of whom experience mental health issues, have learning difficulties or other support needs. We are looking for therapeutic horticulture support volunteers with good gardening knowledge who wish to enhance their skills and gain hands-on experience of social and therapeutic gardening. You will be working to support the volunteers, alongside our horticultural therapists.
We are looking for volunteers who can contribute half a day, with slots available across the week.

Visitor Welcome Volunteers
Our Visitor Welcome team are the ambassadors for the gardens who help to provide a welcoming atmosphere and see to visitors’ needs while they are here. The contribution the team makes to Martineau Gardens is immense. For this role, we are looking for people with good social skills, an ability to work as a team, a willingness to undertake a range of tasks that can arise in a day and a keenness to keep things neat and tidy.
We are looking for volunteers who can contribute half a day, with slots available on Saturdays.
