We are looking for a volunteer who wishes to gain experience as an Office Administrator. You will help provide administrative support across the different functions of Entraide - enabling us to work with more service users and partners. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising work and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
1. To provide effective & efficient administrative support across the varying functions of Entraide.
2. Checking emails and assisting with enquiries
3. Word processing, Filing, photocopying, recording information, archiving files, etc.
4. Organising, and keeping an accurate record of item donations to Entraide.
5. Assisting with event organisation, creating, and distributing flyers and leaflets.
6. Maintaining accurate, accessible, and detailed records, including the inputting clients’ data onto our Database and Excel spreadsheets.
7. Becoming familiar with and follow the Data Protection Policy when handling data.
8. Collating information and maintaining an up to date directory of services.
9. Liaising with external organisations and colleagues regarding events at Entraide.
10. Working cooperatively with line manager & colleagues to meet deadlines.

Experience/Skills and attributes:
1. Some experience of administrative support
2. Good knowledge and experience of using IT and key software including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, and competence in the use of databases and web-based applications
3. Accurate administration, numeracy, attention to detail and data entry skills.
4. Good communication skills, both oral and written, including telephone skills.
5. Ability to use key software including Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel, and competence in the use of databases and web-based applications.
6. Proven planning, time management and organisational skills.
7. Ability to work flexibly and on own initiative.
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
9. Concern for accuracy, attention to detail and quality.
10. Effective interpersonal skills, reliable, and a positive attitude to work.

**No formal qualifications required as full training will be provided.
