Fox Hollies Community Association CIO (reg. charity number: 1174330) exists to support the local community through connection and belonging and as we enter an exciting new phase for our charity we're looking for trustees to support us with this journey.

We've existed in the local community for over 30 years, and have supported local residents through community events, parent and toddler groups, an onsite preschool, youth clubs and senior citizen activities. As our charity's work develops we're looking for the right people to help support our work as trustees. We're in particular looking for individuals who may have a background in:

- Early Years/Ofsted
- Work with young people/Youth Work

Continuing the focus on Stroke Survey

Midland Metropolitan University Hospital, or Midland Met as it's affectionately know, is our new hospital in Smethwick which will open in the Autumn of 2024. In preparation for the opening of the new hospital we need to make changes to some of the services. We would very much welcome your opinion on our plans for improving Stroke Services. Birmingham Green Doors aims to showcase energy efficient homes in Birmingham and the West Midlands. We do this through small group study visits hosted by people who have made/are making energy saving improvements to their homes.
YPC- Young People Cookout

Introduced our first Young people cookout (YPC), where we provided the young people from a number of local schools at Oaklands Young People Centre on a Friday evening. We know money may be an issue for many during the winter months leading up to Christmas. So we gave back by feeding everyone who attended. A successful evening for all.

Trustees Required

Migration Policy & Practice works with voluntary and community sector organisations across the West Midlands who support the settlement of migrants. As part of our development, we are looking to grow our Board by appointing new trustees to support us from a governance and strategic perspective.
Volunteer Minibus Driver - Café Oasis, Sutton Coldfield United Reformed Church

We are looking for a friendly and outgoing minibus driver to bring some of our less mobile citizens to our lovely community café in Sutton Coldfield. The role will require calling passengers to confirm attendance, driving the minibus, picking up passengers, securing any Wheelchairs, helping people with mobility concerns using walkers and sticks, refuelling vehicle.
