We are a successful Christian poverty & homelessness prevention and, environmental protection charity, with a belief that everyone deserves to have a place they can call home, sufficient funds to purchase all their needs and a community in which they can be full participants.

We do this by operating furniture & food banks, (open to individuals, couples and families), debt & budgeting support, a comprehensive volunteering & work placement scheme, four social enterprises (two furniture shops, an IT refurbishment and resale project and a community hub).

Whether you’re an experienced Trustee or wanting to take your first step at Board level, we want to hear from you.

Our new Trustees will have skills and/or experience in the following areas and be followers of the Christian faith:

- finance
- income generation/fundraising
- marketing

As a Trustee you will have:

- Induction, training & reimbursable expenses
- Opportunities to make strategic decisions and develop new skills
- Opportunities to network with senior officials
- Influence to shape innovative projects
- The chance to help prevent and alleviate poverty and homelessness and protect the environment.

The expected time commitment is six Trustee meetings per year (meetings are arranged by mutual consent), one full day strategy day and some ad-hoc committee work.
