Talent Match Coach x2

Talent Match is a £100m investment programme of the Big Lottery Fund designed to provide support to young people between the ages of 18 - 24 years of age who are ‘Not in Employment, Education or Training’ (NEET) and have been so in excess of 12 months.

We are currently recruiting for two Talent Match Coaches, focussing on different work activities.

Both roles will support young adults (18-24 years old) who reside in Birmingham or Solihull to prepare for and secure sustainable employment and identify eligible programme participants and support the integration of them into the Talent Match programme through the provision of one to one coaching support.

Below is a brief description of each thematic focus. More details can be found in the application pack.

Universal Coach

Primarily based within the central delivery team, the Universal Coach will be responsible for delivering Talent Match services, picking up cross city referrals when demand requires. The successful applicant will manage a diverse caseload of young adults seeking employment opportunities. You will be required to identify best practice solutions for addressing participant’s barriers, with the aim to support them to identify and secure sustainable work.

Specialist Coach

As the Specialist Coach, you will be required to deliver Talent match services specifically to participants with LDD and mental health requirements across Birmingham and Solihull, offering intensive one to one support to a caseload of participants with identified LDD and mental health requirements.

You will have proven experience of delivering coaching and intensive one to one support to young adults with multiple and complex needs, adapting your techniques, information & activities for young adults with support requirements.
