Focus Birmingham is a leading charity that delivers a range of activities and services to support those living with a visual impairment and other disabilities in Birmingham. We are seeking an exceptional candidate to fill the key role of Sight Loss Support Services Delivery Manager, to continue the growth and development of our high-quality services.

We are looking for a highly motivated leader who can work collaboratively, positively and widely with colleagues and the people we support.  You will need the ability to motivate and involve team members, to ensure there is a clear understanding to achieve the department’s aims and objects. You will need the ability to develop a strong personal vision driven by Focus Birmingham’s strategic objectives and have the ability to deliver individualised focused support for our service users. As a delivery manager, you will also need proven ability of being responsible and accountable for the quality, safety and success of the Sight Loss delivery services.

To be successful in this post the ideal candidate will need:

  • A degree or equivalent relevant experience;
  • Have the ability to manage and support their teams;
  • The ability to identify and solve problems;
  • Have a general understanding of service delivery, processes and procedures;
  • Have general knowledge and experience of financial procedures;
  • Experience of working with contracts and service level agreements;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good IT skills.
