Senior Coordinator (Migration – Policy & Practice)

Initial contract for 3 years

25 days A/L + contributory pension scheme

Funded by the Barrow Cadbury Trust and the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Birmingham Settlement has been appointed to host a new initiative to support the effective settlement of migrants and to build a positive integration agenda in Birmingham and the surrounding area. Led by a steering group and independent chair, with a wider membership contributing evidence and voice, the initiative will improve coordination, communication and collaborative working in this arena; bringing together local evidence and experience to influence local, regional and national policy.

We are now seeking a Senior Coordinator to work closely with the steering group and chair to take the initiative forward. A clear, strategic thinker with excellent organising and relationship skills, you will have a demonstrable commitment to social justice and some experience of campaigning and influencing along with an experience of working effectively with a chair and board or similar.

Based in Aston, but working across the region, this is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a significant project for the region.
