The West Midlands Anti-Slavery Network (WMASN) CIC connects the various agencies involved in tackling modern-day slavery in the West Midlands and beyond. We aim to develop an effective regional multi-agency anti-slavery network to raise awareness, reduce the threat and harm of slavery and rescue and support victims of slavery in the West Midlands geographical area. Developing strategic partnerships and collaborations with other regional, national and international organisations to tackle modern-day slavery, including networks, partnerships, agencies and learning establishments is key to the Network achieving its aim.
We are recruiting to a new and exciting Project Development Manager role, who will have responsibility for both the strategic and operational aspects of the place of safety and holistic centre for male adult victims of human trafficking.
The successful applicant will have an understanding of supported housing for individuals with specific needs, an understanding of trafficking and modern slavery issues and be required to undertake assessments for those who may access the service. With line management responsibility for the centre’s support workers, you will have responsibility for creating rotas, petty cash, managing incidents and health and safety.
Strategically, the successful applicant will be responsible for raising the profile of WMASN, creating further business opportunities and producing Board level reports and papers. Identifying and applying for further funding opportunities will be a fundamental part of the role. With excellent project management skills, you will be adept at managing the operations of the safe house as well as seeking further business development opportunities.
