As the Partnership Manager, you will play a crucial role in Healthwatch Birmingham’s ability to form proactive relationships with key stakeholders across health, social care and the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sectors. Working in partnership with others, your role will raise the quality of patient, public and citizen involvement in the city, ensuring they are at the heart of all health and social care decisions in Birmingham.
The successful applicant will be required to identify, develop and manage key relationships with the health and social care sector to ensure we are able to access patients at the point of contact, as well as work with Patient, Public and Citizen Involvement leads in the city to roll out our Healthwatch Birmingham Quality Standard.
You will also track and monitor changes made as a result of your own work, publishing regular impact reports to celebrate our partners’ achievements and our successes and identify opportunities for Healthwatch Birmingham to promote our work, working with the Communications and Marketing Manager to develop key presentations and engagement tools.
You will be passionate and knowledgeable about patient and public involvement in a health or social care setting, with proven actionable knowledge and understanding of relevant policy, and of the constraints, levers and incentives operating in this space.
