Outreach Liaison Worker x2

Talent Match is a £100m investment programme of the Big Lottery Fund designed to provide support to young people between the ages of 18 - 24 years of age who are ‘Not in Employment, Education or Training’ (NEET) and have been so in excess of 12 months.

We are currently recruiting for two Outreach Liaison Workers, with different thematic responsibilities.

The successful applicants will have proven experience of stakeholder engagement and delivering outreach engagement activities to young adults with multiple and complex needs (NEETs). They will also require experience of adapting activities, tools and techniques in order to appeal to a diverse range of audiences and extensive experience of positively challenging individual/organisational perceptions, attitudes and behaviours.

Outreach Liaison Worker – Participant / Ambassador engagement and retention

Focussing on participant and ambassador engagement and retention, you will have experience of engaging with and presenting to groups of young adults in an outreach, youth and/or employment setting as well as proven experience of adapting techniques, information & activates for young adults with support requirements in relation to mental health or LDD.

Outreach Liaison Worker - Referral generation and external stakeholder engagement

With an emphasis on external stakeholder engagement and referrals, the post holder will be responsible for generating referrals of eligible 18 – 24-year-olds who have been unemployed for 12 months or more into the Talent Match programme as well as establishing sustainable collaborative partnerships with other organisations working within the youth employment landscape.
