This is an exciting new role where you will have an opportunity to support and encourage Tabor House guests to participate in a range of activities. You will be working with our guests from diverse backgrounds and with varying levels of need. You will play a role in developing and delivering enjoyable and engaging activities. The activities might include English sessions for those guests whose first language is not English; life skills, board games and quizzes etc.

Volunteers will:

• Support the development of group-based activities for Tabor House guests.
• Support and encourage guests to engage in various activities.
• Help in setting activities up and clearing away afterwards.
• Offer support and intervention with our guests to enable and support their personal and social development as required.

If you have the ability to:

• Ability to work as a team and take instruction from ‘on-call’ staff.
• A heart for vulnerable and needy people, and a willingness to be challenged and changed.
